17 — Fred Fortune Off Color

17 — Fred Fortune Off Color

This is Fred Fortune's third "stand-up" comedy video. We put the word stand-up in quotes because Fred Fortune doesn't really stand up to tell jokes. He sits down. He's also legendary in "the Fourth Dimension" for being the worst "stand-up comic" in the history of stand-up comedy. We put the words "the Fourth Dimension" in quotes because Fred Fortune previously made a color video from "the Fourth Dimension" that was actually color on The Fred Fortune blog but showed up as a black-and-white video, with a "hacked" audio,  on two other blogs written by science fiction author Michael Casher. So, we became very suspicious of that video and chose to not host it at Junk TV. By now, most of us are hip to the notion that 4D means Cyberland to Fred Fortune. Well, we at Junk TV think that's where the little intergalactic grifter belongs. So we do.

By the way, Fred Fortune is not apologizing for being sick at the end of this video. He's repeating the punchline that was drowned out by the gong. It's no big deal. The Mother Superior is used to winning all her fights, so by losing this one, she's simply telling the woman bartender why she's not "up to par". We assume that the Mother Superior's "I've been sick" excuse (cold, flu, etc.), must be true because everybody knows that a nun would never tell a lie, is. Right. Anyway, this joke is a play on an old joke from 1960 or so and we're pretty sure that the "lady" bartender, who knew the Mother Superior rather well, got the punchline. Did you?
