14 — Fred Makes a Statement

Last time, you remember, Fred Fortune was trying to make a statement when he was interrupted by a phone call from the White House. Or was that just a prank call? We're not sure. This time, Fred Fortune gets the New Year off to a good start by trying to make that same statement again but something apparently went wrong. As usual. Why is the picture so grainy? Why is Fred wearing a fez? What's the deal with the American flag? Was that really Fred Fortune (with his pal Farnsworth M. Mudd working the camera) or is this a new cartoon series? We're not sure.
